Founder & President of Foreign Investment and Trade Mexico - Canada (FIT-MC) is a firm dedicated to promoting, developing and implementing foreign trade and investment operations for public and private entities as well as facilitating international expansion.

Most of her professional career has been in her time working for the Ministry of Economy of Mexico where for more than two decades, she has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in international trade and foreign investment.

Ms. Márquez Rojano has served as a Head of the Office of the Mexico-United States- Canada Agreement (CUSMA) and Representative for Trade and Investment in the office of the Mexican Ministry of Economy of Mexico in Canada. Prior to this, Jacqueline has held various senior positions in the Ministry of Economy including the pivotal role of Director of Legal Affairs for both the Foreign Investment Directorate General and the National Foreign Investment Commission.

In that position, her responsibilities included implementing the legal framework for foreign companies to participate in Mexico and reviewing corporate organizations of companies that may want to invest in Mexico.

Ms. Márquez played a key role on the negotiation teams for the CUSMA (NAFTA 2.0), and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Jacqueline acted as a lead negotiator in numerous Bilateral Investment Treaties with countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, participating in multiple investment international negotiations. Additionally, Ms. Márquez represented the Mexican Government in the Investment Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and spearheaded an initiative with the World Bank aimed at attracting and retaining foreign investment in Mexico.

Ms. Marquez is a lawyer with a Master's Degree and graduated with honors with a specialty in Foreign Trade Law from the UNAM Faculty of Law.
